Strong Boys Remodel has an opening for a motivated learner who has some experience with the construction industry. This is a great opportunity to learn the window and door trade with the recognized industry experts of Strong Boys Remodel.
The Fenestration Helper is responsible for assisting when repairing/upgrading windows and doors. This job includes learning the knowledge of quality door and window product replacements as well as installing them. You will learn how to install entry doors, energy efficient windows and skylights.
This is a part time (25-30 hours / 2-3 days a week), in-person position. Reliable transportation is required (at least to the office). Pay commensurate with experience, expertise and qualifications as outlined.

Knowledge | Skills | Abilities Desired
- Construction or trades experience is preferred, but not necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 75-lbs and able to stand for long periods.
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and benches in addition to assembling, erecting, or dismantling scaffolds, ladders, benches, rigging, or hoisting equipment.
- Ability to read tape measures and levels, and to perform basic measurement calculations.
- Requires good communication skills and ability to working within tight time schedules to meet deadlines
- Quality focused; takes initiative to problem solve at the lowest level, while knowing when to ask for help.
- Willingness and aptitude for learning the glazing trade; desire to become a team lead.
- Professional appearance and ability to provide excellent customer service to our clients is essential.
